I have an amazing pile of wonderful, collaborative writing on paper of all shapes and sizes to sort through and collect for publication. I'm going to be busy....

Day three at St Begh's school saw me working with Lowther and Wellington classes with Mrs Doran and Mr Sharkey. Warm up poems were about Halloween and McDonalds. The children had a democratic vote after a short list of proposals were made.
The morning group wrote poems about abstract nouns like love and joy and fear. The afternoon group wrote a joint poem about travelling to exciting places on a train through their dreams inspired by another poem. All poems are collaborative with the children pooling their ideas with lots of sharing. Poems will be going into a published book. But I might just give you all a sneak preview of some of the fabulous work soon.
Seventeen fabulous afternoons of orienteering with Maryport Infants, Netherton Infants, Ellenborough and Ewanrigg Infants and Grasslot Infants. The schools had 4 afternoons back at school and then a joint event in the woods at Camp Road. Juice, crisps and medals were all well deserved.
What a lot of lovely work we have to display!
Come on down to Maryport Aquarium to see our lovely art work and read our fabulous stories.
