What an exciting trip our canvases have made. Libraries, a museum and now a cathedral. I am so proud of the children of Maryport and Niki's commitment to the project.
In the afternoon the rain got even heavier but the Aquarium let us use their upstairs space and just before it was time to finish the weather cleared enough for the children to take some photos.
The fishy tales written by the children with Ian Douglas have now been completed and so I am working with the children in Maryport on the artwork to go with the stories. The weather was warm enough to sit and sketch and take photos too and the children met Captain Allan - the hero of the stories.
